Dublin!!! WOOT!!!

I just first want to say that Guinness and my stomach are not good friends!!! It hates me actually :(

Okay. Good. Lets move on shall we!?

I arrived in Dublin this morning at 9:00 am (1am pac time) after spending a majority of that time in planes or in Newark, NJ. The first flight was fine because I slept the entire way there. I spent another six hours in layover in Jersey. Then did an overnight flight to Dublin to where I arrive safely. Right now you could say I'm exhausted beyond all belief. I hate flying this much because it kills all happy inside of me! I will say arriving safely made up for a lot of it!

I met Kdawg at the airport... right as soon as I got out of customs. We took the city center express to get to the Hostel. So far with the hostel I'm impressed because they let us check in early. I went to my room and accidently fell asleep! I woke up about four then went exploring for food with Kdawg. We just hit up a grocery store and we got sandwiches and stuff. I ended up eating a chicken and stuff sandwich. It is actually quite delicious!!!

We went back to the hostel to eat and play on our computers. We were then invited by a group of americans to go to a pub. We joined them out and don't worry people it was a fairly large group. There were two girls from Brazil and one was fasinated by my hair. She didn't need to know its fake!?

I had my first pint of Guinness and I am not fan. That is totally okay with me!!! I got hassled for not finishing it however.. :{ so I'm not going to see these people ever again... so who carers? Not me! At the pub we met an old man who was an inventor, some people from Northern Ireland, and a group on the pub crawl. The two other Americans on the group were very much the classic American tourist in Ireland. The people from N. Ireland were so uncomfortable in their seats. I felt bad for them because I just kind of sat there and added nothing to the conversation.

After a while of trying to choke down my guinness Kdawg and I decided to leave and we got some pop at a shop. Headed back to the hostel where we are now.

Some funny things to think about...

I love that they have two euro in a coin! I lose paper money more than I do coins.

Stuffing in a sandwich.. Yum!

I leave tomorrow, morning actually at 3:00am from Yelm. My flight to Jersey leaves at 7. I am not sleeping at all tonight.. Maybe a nap mid-day. That way I'm tired for flight and I'm somewhat already getting around to their schedule!

I have a lot to do today shopping, laundry, and packing. Making sure that everything is ready to go. I haven't decided as to which clothes I am going to take. I should do that so I know what I still need to get when I go shopping today.

It is still hard to believe that in 48 hours I will be landing in Dublin (our time). Getting to see KDAWG and spending my first day with her. I can't wait to see all my classmates again. Today is going to be purely get ready for IRELAND!!!!! SO STOKED!!!!! STOKED!!!!

You could say that I"m happy... maybe just a little.

Oh Frank my dear how I love thee!!!!!

I just got the best of Frank Sinatra !! Love!!!! I'd be very happy with my own Frank Sinatra look-a-like!!!

Not the point, however, I leave in 9 days!!! Boy am I stoked!!! I'm trying to get everything ready for the trip. I'm still waiting on a few things like my ISIC and last minute shopping but I will survive. It is hard to think that in a little over a weeks time I will be in Ireland. I've wanted to take this trip since I was a wee lass.

Update!!! **** So I've been thinking about next year. I will be for sure moving to California O.O... I know right! I have a very small skill set for the types of jobs that I may need in order to survive. I could try to whole starving artist thing but I don't know how well that will work out. I have been seriously considering bartending. I can take classes over the summer and I'd bet set. They make bank in tips and hell it would be worth it. I can hold my own when need be. So drunk ass men can stuff it! Let me know what you think about my idea.

Gladys!!!

I don't feel ready at all for two months abroad but I have a feeling it will be okay. Just for my friends this will be the primary source of info you get out of me.... I'm going to keep computer time to a low standard. I'm there to be in freaking Ireland DAMNIT!!! :D

As for right now..... I am no longer an RA and living on campus. It is so weird to be in Yelm this long at this time of the year. Meh however.... Did I mention I'm going to IRELAND!!!!
